Three Junes
Summary (from the publisher): This artfully constructed debut novel is told in three parts, each set in the month of June. As she tells the tales of love, loss, and the bonds between members of a complicated Scottish family, Julia Glass poignantly explores the role of fate and serendipity in bringing people together, as well as the communication gaps and shuttered emotions that often keep them apart.
Review: When I first picked this book up, I thought it was going to be a chick lit novel about three women named June but it ended up being very different. In fact, only one of the three narrators was a woman. I had a hard time getting into this book, but ended up loving it. Especially loved the unique view of each of the narrators that only the reader is privy to.
